The environment that we live in affects the mental and emotional health of families. We work to help each family manage their environmental stressors like anger or grief and help them learn to communicate better and work through conflicts. In addition, when it comes to working with minors, we are very aware that we must have a good relationship not only with the children in treatment but with the children’s parents as well to be effective.
Our therapists respect and listen carefully to each member of the family. Family counseling is not about ‘blaming the parents’. Rather, our therapists work together with the parents as a collaborative team.
Founded in 2008, BHSOGC has delivered professional Psychology Services to the greater Cleveland area with offices in Medina and Rocky River. We are a multi-disciplinary group practice with a clinical staff of psychologists, licensed social workers and masters level therapists.
