Dr. Chivonna Childs, PhD
Chivonna Childs, Ph.D., has more than seventeen years as a mental health professional. Dr. Childs received her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Cleveland State University.
Her interests include African American women and depression and Spirituality in therapeutic settings. She is a member of Ohio Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. Her experience includes working in community mental health centers with a diverse population and older adults in nursing homes. She provides individual therapy as well as focused treatment therapy to a diverse population.
Dr. Childs’ areas of expertise include therapy with individuals with Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and Dissociative Identity Disorders
