Kellie Pavlish, LPCC

Kellie Pavlish holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and her areas of interest include mood stabilization, symptom management, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, mood disorders, emotion regulation, communication, adjustment disorders, and interpersonal issues. Kellie co-facilitates an Adult Mood Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program group in a hospital setting, in addition to engaging in individual counseling with both adolescents and adults. Throughout her clinical experience Kellie has worked in various settings, including chemical dependency outpatient group therapy, a hospital detox unit, and behavioral health inpatient units.

The theoretical approaches Kellie implements are dependent on the needs of her clients. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and also draws on elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She views the counseling experience as a shared journey. She strives to build rapport with her clients, meet them where they are, and provides them with a supportive and comfortable environment. Kellie strongly believes in the power of empathy, and unconditional positive regard, and approaches each client with the same optimism to empower her clients towards their goals for therapy.
