
Dr. Holly Kirk, Ph.D, M.Ed., LPCC-S
Dr. Holly Kirk has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron, a Master’s Degree from Cleveland State University in Counseling, and earned her PhD in Psychology from Cleveland State University in 2014. Her research interests are in the area of Professional Ethics and Clinical Supervision.
Dr. Kirk is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation and has over 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Kirk has experience in a variety of areas including working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, anger management, women’s issues, and trauma. Her experience includes individual and group counseling, and psychological testing.
Dr. Kirk seeks to create a warm, supportive environment for clients and primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral, Systems Theory, and Solution-Focused approaches to therapy. She teaches skills to help clients manage symptoms and improve their mood and behavior. She also assists clients in improving their relationships with significant others and helps empower her clients to utilize their strengths to make positive changes in their lives.
